Come out and sample our delicious sauces and seasonings along with other fantastic food & drinks found at Russ’s Market.
From the event:
The 2019 Russ’s Wine and Food Experience will be held at the Embassy Suites on Friday, Feb. 22 from 5–8 p.m. This is the 11th year for the event, which has become a favorite of Lincoln-area wine lovers. The Russ’s Wine and Food Experience, presented by Russ’s Market, has raised close to $400,000 for the Lincoln Community Playhouse over the last eleven years.
Approximately 99 booths will fill the main ballroom, offering an international selection of wines. Foodies can sample fine cheeses, gourmet desserts, beef, seafood, and many unique items. Russ’s Market bakers will be making several varieties of fresh baked artisan breads at the event. In addition to the main ballroom, reserve room guests will enjoy an exclusive selection of reserve wines and a buffet prepared by Russ’s Market Catering to You.
“The Wine and Food Experience has become a must-attend event for wine lovers. Experts can enjoy more exclusive wines in the reserve room, while less-experienced guests have the opportunity to try different varieties to see what they like,” said Pat Raybould, president of B&R Stores, Inc. “And the best part is helping the Lincoln Community Playhouse provide entertainment and education programs for our community.”
Join us alongside many other great local businesses. We’ll have our sauces out for sample and sale and our dorfs out for bouncin’.
The fair draws over 130 artists and crafters from Lincoln, Omaha and the surrounding area and is known as one of the premier arts and crafts fairs.
Lunch and snacks are served throughout the day. The United Methodist Women also sponsor a bake sale. Admission is free, however those attending are encouraged to bring a non-perishable food item to support the local food pantry.
The St. Mark’s Christian Explorers class sponsors the spring and fall craft fairs each year. Proceeds from the booth rental at the fairs benefit projects and ministries at the church and in the community.
Join us as we support our community and meet our mission of healthy living through community gardens, a fresh, natural & local food supply, sporting activities with a special focus on outdoor play and environmental conservation.
Dirt Nap and baldorf will be there!
