Each Christmas MRP partners with community organizations to give gift bags to Lincoln-area kids that can use a little extra something under the Christmas tree.
Holiday Cheer for Kids in Need
Our Holiday Backpack Program supports approximately 50 elementary age students and their families each year. Gift backpacks include winter coats, clothing, personal hygiene products, school supplies book and a healthy foods snack pack for the holiday break. We also include fun stuff like baldorf game sets, activity books and special gifts. There’s even something for mom and dad. Students will have fun over the holiday break and be ready for the start of the spring semester. ‘Tis the season- help us lend a hand to families in need.
