Put Good Ideas to Work
Do you have a great idea to improve the lives of those around you, but need a little cash or the right supplies to get things started? We can help!
At MRP, we partner with community leaders and organizations working to elevate quality of life for those who need it most. If you have an initiative that advances education, promotes healthy habits, or mobilizes local service, apply for a grant to help bring your project to life.
To be sure your organization qualifies for consideration, please review the guidelines carefully:
- Organizations do not have to be a registered 501(c)(3)non-profit, but must have a mission that supports community development.
- All projects must meet one of MRP’s three focus areas (education, healthy living, community service).
- There is no application deadline – projects are accepted on rolling basis and approved by MRP Board when funding is available.
- Extra consideration is given to organizations that contribute to the project through cash or in-kind support.
- Awarded funding can only be used for projects/activities described in application.
- If awarded funding cannot be used for the originally stated purpose, the applicant agrees to either submit a modified application or immediately return funding to MRP.
- A project report must be submitted to MRP upon completion.
- Applications are accepted on a rolling basis. If funding is not immediately available, your application will be kept on file for future approval. If your application does not qualify, our Grants Coordinator will work with your organization to improve your chances for approval.
If you have questions, please contact the MRP team.
